Outreach Fall Intern
Chloe Corrion, the Fall intern for The Children’s Movement of Florida, is a graduate of Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts.
Since a young age, Chloe knew she wanted to pursue a career working with a nonprofit organization that betters the lives of children. This led her to major in Child, Youth, and Community Education in college. She has a concentration in Community Education and minor in Business Management.
During her time at Curry College, Chloe completed four internships with nonprofit organizations. These include working with Big Sister Association of Greater Boston, a K-8 afterschool program; The Children’s Trust, a Boston based child abuse prevention organization; as well as Miami-based National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment. Chloe also spent time in Guatemala organizing a day camp for underprivileged children, as well as helped build a house for a family in need. At her college awards ceremony, she was the recipient of the “Investing in Children” award.
Chloe ultimately wants to give back to her community what her community gave to her, which is a sense of belonging and the ability to be loved. Chloe’s dream is to land a full-time position with a nonprofit organization that advocates on behalf of children.
