Outreach and Engagement Coordinator – North Florida
Daniela is passionate about advocating for young children and equitable education opportunities.
Daniela is a proud alumna of Florida State University. She earned a B.S in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences: Public Policy and Social Entrepreneurship. She also received a minor in Education with a Leadership Studies Certification.
As a Miami native, Daniela was raised bilingual (English and Spanish). Her interest in Early Childhood issues stem from her past work with young children. She has worked as a Senior Camp Counselor for three years at the Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Center in Miami. She currently holds a Child Development Associate and is DCF certified through her past involvement in her high school’s Early Childhood Education program. These experiences led to her interest in advocating for Florida’s most vulnerable population.
At Florida State University, she served on the executive board for Dance Marathon at FSU as the Recruitment Chair, the largest student-run philanthropy in the Southeast Region. She continues to fundraise for her local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and the Florida State College of Medicine Pediatric Outreach Program.
Daniela currently lives in Tallahassee, FL. She enjoys spending her spare time hiking, exploring Tallahassee, and traveling to Disney World.
