Intern, Outreach & Communications

Bio

Camila Miret is a passionate advocate for children and education, currently pursuing a degree in Communication at Florida State University with minors in Psychology and General Business. Originally from Miami, Florida, she is entering her senior year of college with a strong commitment to promoting early childhood development and equitable access to resources for all children.

With hands-on experience working in a school that supports children with autism, Camila has witnessed firsthand the importance of early intervention, inclusive education, and compassionate advocacy. This experience has fueled her dedication to helping every child reach their full potential.

As an intern of  The Movement, Camila brings her background in communication and psychology to support initiatives that elevate the voices of young children and their families across the state. At just 20 years old, she is excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to meaningful change in Florida’s early childhood landscape and advocacy.

Outside of her academic and advocacy work, Camila enjoys reading, taking walks on the beach, and running—all of which keep her grounded and inspired as she pursues her goals.
