Bio

Catherine Vandergriff is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Florida, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and Education Sciences. A pre-law student, Catherine serves as the President of the Kappa Delta sorority Beta Pi chapter, pioneering fundraising for the Child Advocacy Center and Prevent Child Abuse America. Additionally, she worked as a Recruiting Analyst for Florida Gators Football within the University Athletic Association.

Catherine’s interest in early child development and literacy laws stems from her experience as a foster child and her research in educational policy, focusing on systemic outcomes and youth advocacy. Following her undergraduate studies and upcoming LSAT, she plans to pursue a law degree specializing in sports and entertainment, with the ultimate goal of continuing her nonpartisan advocacy for children.

Catherine lives in Spring Lake, Michigan and in her free time she enjoys yoga, running, and spending time with her family and friends
