Maria Somera

Maria is a mother of three whose children inspire her daily and fuel her commitment to strong families and strong communities. She is a business owner with her husband and has remained resilient through both a pandemic and a historic hurricane. Maria is deeply involved in local early childhood efforts, serving as former Chair of the Children First Policy Council and current Board Liaison. She also serves on the Board of CenterPlace Health, now as Vice Chair, and contributes to the First 1000 Days Sarasota Parent Advisory Committee.
