How This Boss Makes an Impact for Children in Florida
Under the leadership of CEO Amy Shore, R’Club offers many of the benefits provided in the Bosses for Babies guidelines for family-friendly workplaces. Some of R’Club’s family-friendly benefits include, but are not limited to: coverage for 70% of employees’ healthcare with coverage options for family dependents and paid childcare for employees with children ages 2 through 22 at its 6 early learning academies and 39 school-age (before and after school) programs, including services for individuals with differing abilities and special needs. Other wellness benefits include Health Savings Accounts, elective vision and dental coverage, and a family-friendly Employee Assistance Program.
Employees can rollover PTO hours into Extended Leave accounts, banking up to 360 hours. They also have predictable scheduling, the option for remote work depending on job responsibilities, advance notice of shift changes, and the flexibility to move between full-time and part-time schedules based on their needs. Pregnant employees receive accommodations as needed to protect the health of the mother and baby, and R’Club provides a nursing room to support mothers returning to work. On a case-by-case basis, employees may also bring their child to the administrative building.
