Conan Gallaty is CEO and Chairman of the Times Publishing Company, which operates the Tampa Bay Times, Florida Trend, and Tampa Bay Newspapers. He joined Times Publishing Company as its chief digital officer in 2018 and assumed his current role in 2022.
In more than 25 years of working in digital media, Conan has received numerous awards for his work in news coverage, design, and advertising innovation.
Conan began his journalism career, starting as a reporter for the News-Tribune in his hometown of Rome, Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Journalism and Business.
He is a 2020 Leadership Tampa graduate and serves on the non-profit boards for The Poynter Institute and Starting Right, Now.
Conan lives in Oldsmar with his wife, Natasha, and their two children.
