Bosses for Babies

How This Boss Makes an Impact for Children in Florida

At Evara Health, leaders know that when employees feel supported at home, they can thrive at work. That’s why they’ve built family-focused policies that make a real difference in daily life.

Flexible scheduling options help employees balance work and family needs, including four 10-hour workdays that provide an extra day off each week, part-time roles for reduced schedules, and per diem opportunities for added flexibility. Certain roles also offer remote or hybrid work arrangements, giving families even more flexibility.

Evara goes further with health benefits, paying a significant share of employee premiums and offering a domestic in-network program that eliminates co-pays to reduce out-of-pocket costs for employees and their families. They also provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with counseling, childcare resources, eldercare referrals, and financial planning support. Wellness programs promote physical and mental well-being, while professional development and tuition assistance through the Evara Health Institute help employees grow their careers and train the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Recognizing that families come first, Evara also offers child-friendly benefits, including free or low-cost school and sports physicals for employees’ children, back-to-school support through supplies and health events, and family volunteer opportunities to strengthen community connections.

At Evara Health, supporting families isn’t an afterthought, it’s embedded into how they operate every day. Their mission is simple: care for one employee, one family, and one community at a time.
