Bosses for Babies

How This Boss Makes an Impact for Children in Florida

Madeleine fosters a family-friendly environment at The Movement, which is evident in the office culture and the workplace policies. In addition to our generous PTO and full insurance benefits, new parents are offered two months of parental leave (whether for the birth or adoption of a child), and all full-time employees are eligible for up to one month of medical leave. When new parents return to the office, our policies explicitly call for increased flexibility for the first six months, and nursing mothers have access to comfortable, private spaces for breastfeeding or pumping. Flexible work options, such as remote work, are also available depending on the role within the organization.

Beyond the employee manual, everything The Movement does–from business engagement to legislative advocacy and more–is designed to make a positive impact on young children and their families.
