Bosses for Babies

How This Boss Makes an Impact for Children in Florida

Sandi has instituted several policies at the Leesburg Chamber that demonstrate their commitment to supporting a healthy work-life balance for employees and recognizing the importance of family responsibilities. They converted an empty office for after-school accommodations for parents at the chamber. Children can do their homework or other after-school-related activities. Also, employees are encouraged to attend their children's school activities like awards ceremonies, programs, and other events. This practice aligns with the sick child policy, which allows parents to work from home or bring the child to work and is all part of the family-friendly work environment they promote.
